Don’t worry I will provide you details of Christ University, (BTECH) In Civil Engineering program offer by university engineering branch so that you can check it.

Eligibility
Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination from any recognised Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Class XII level and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics.

Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent.

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2017 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Lateral Entry:
Candidates who have successfully completed the 3 year diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for lateral entry into engineering programmes.

Selection Process
Skill Assessment
The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.

Personal interview

Assessment of past performance in Class 10, Class 11/12, during the Personal Interview

Introduction to Engineering Mechanics, Newton's laws of motion, Force systems and classification, Moment, Couple, Composition of Co planar Concurrent and Non concurrent force systems.

Equilibrium of Force Systems and Support Reactions

Equilibrium equations, Lami's Theorem, Reactions and Types of reactions, Supports and Types of Supports, Types of loading.

Unit-4
Teaching Hours:15
Centroid and Moment of Inertia

Centroid of plane figures, Moment of Inertia of Plane Figures, Parallel axis theorem, Perpendicular axis theorem and Radius of gyration.

Friction
