National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF) has published Project Scientist recruitment notification detail are as follows :

Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 29
Name of the Post:
1. Project Scientist-C: 20 posts
2. Project Scientist-D: 09 posts

Eligibility:
Applicants must possess M.Sc. Degree or equivalent in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Climate Science/ Geophysics (with specialization in Meteorology)/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics & 07 years research experience in the field of Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Fluid Mechanics/ Climate Science with familiarity in Data Assimilation/ Atmospheric or Oceanic Modelling for Project Scientist-D, M.Sc. Degree or equivalent in Meteorology/ Oceanography/Atmospheric Science/ Climate Science/ Geophysics (with specialization in Meteorology)/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics & 03 years research experience in the field of Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Fluid Mechanics for Project Scientist-C.

Age Limit:
Applicants upper age limit is 40 years for Post No.1, 50 years for Post No.2 as on 03-09-2017. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST, OBC, physically handicapped and ex-serviceman as per GOI rule.

Selection Process:
Applicants will be selected on the basis of Interview.
