Rayappa Ramappa Hanchinal formally took charge as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Agricultural Sciences He took charge from in-charge Vice-Chancellor and Registrar H.S. Vijaykumar. Mr. Hanchinal was Director of Extension in the university prior to this appointment. But before this Mr. Hanchinal worked as senior seed production specialist in five West African countries, besides working as adviser to the Indonesian Government on wheat research and development. He has also worked as Assistant Director-General of ICAR. |
