BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) Program offered by Department of Computer Science of Christ University is a 3-year undergraduate programme. It is extended over six semesters.

The course is designed to bridge the gap between IT industries and institutes by incorporating the latest developments into the curriculum. University has an excellent group of dedicated faculty and experts from the IT industry, guiding the students.

Eligibility

Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) from any recognised Board in India.

Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent.

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Admission Process

Candidates will be intimated about the Selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the “Application Status” link on the University website.

Candidates must note that if selected, admission is provisional and subject to University rules.

The selected candidates must process admission at the Office of Admissions as per the stipulated date, time and venue mentioned in the offer of admission card.

Admission will not be processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory original documents mentioned below:

1. Original Class 10 Marks Statement (Mandatory).
2. Class 12 Marks Statement, if candidate has appeared and passed the examination (Mandatory).
3. Transfer Certificate (TC) (Mandatory).
4. Migration Certificate (applicable for all candidates except Karnataka state board applicants) (Mandatory).
5. One full set of Photocopies of all the above mentioned documents (Mandatory).
6. Two Stamp size and two passport size photograph (Mandatory).
7. The stipulated fee in Demand Draft / Cash / Online Payment (Mandatory).
8. Two Copies of the Demand Draft / Online Payment Receipt (In case Program Fee paid through DD / Online) (Mandatory).
9. Copy of valid address / ID proof (Aadhar Card) (Mandatory).
10. For International Students, the following additional documents have to be submitted:
a] Passport and Visa Details
b] Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) from any recognized medical practitioner certified by the Medical Council of India and
c] Resident Permit (RP)
