To be qualified to take the LSAT, you will be required to have with you at the test focus the printout of your confirmation ticket that incorporates the photograph that you transferred through your LSAC online record. Affirmation tickets that don't show the required transferred photograph won't be acknowledged on test day.

The correct test date, detailing time, and announcing location are recorded on your LSAT Admission Ticket. Your ticket additionally incorporates applicable data with respect to test focus directions and methodology.

Admission to the Test Center


The accompanying three things are REQUIRED for admission to the test focus:

LSAT Admission Ticket: You should present and sign page 1 of your confirmation ticket at the test focus registration table. The printout of your affirmation ticket must show the photograph that you transferred through your LSAC online record. The photograph showed on your confirmation ticket must meet the LSAT Admission Ticket Photo Requirements.

Substantial, Government-Issued Photo Identification: You will be required to exhibit a legitimate, government provided ID. The ID must be present (or have lapsed inside 90 days of your test date) and should contain a current and unmistakable photograph of you. The first and keep going name recorded on your ID must match precisely the first and keep going name imprinted on your LSAT Admission Ticket.

Pencils: Bring three or four honed No. 2 or HB wooden pencils with great erasers. (Mechanical pencils are disallowed.) All answers must be recorded on your LSAT answer sheet in pencil. Pencils must be utilized for the written work test also. Pencils and sharpeners WILL NOT be provided at the test focus.

Items Allowed in the Test Room

• valid ID
• wallet
• keys
• medical products (including diabetic testing supplies)
• feminine hygiene products
• No. 2 or HB wooden pencils
• highlighter
• erasers (no erasers with sleeves)
• pencil sharpener
• tissues
• beverage in plastic container or juice box (maximum size: 20 oz/591 ml)—no aluminum cans or glass containers permitted
• snack

Items Allowed on the Desktop
Test takers may have ONLY the following items on the desktop:
• tissues
• valid ID
• LSAT Admission Ticket
• No. 2 or HB wooden pencils
• erasers
• pencil sharpener
• highlighter
• analog (nondigital) wristwatch
Beverage and snack are NOT permitted on the desktop and may be accessed only during the break.

Prohibited Items
You MAY NOT bring into the test center or use any of the following:
• electronic timers of any kind
• electronic cigarettes
• fitness tracking devices
• digital watches, alarm watches, beeping watches, calculator watches
• cell phones, beepers, pagers, personal digital assistants (PDAs)
• personal computers
• calculators
• photographic or recording devices
• listening devices
• headsets, iPods, or other media players
• books, dictionaries, papers of any kind
• rulers
• mechanical pencils
• mechanical erasers or erasers with sleeves
• ink pens or felt-tip markers
• briefcases, handbags, backpacks of any kind
• earplugs
• hats/hoods (except religious apparel) may not be worn on the head
• sunglasses may not be worn
• weapons or firearms

LSAC has adopted a no-tolerance policy with regard to the use or possession of electronic devices, including cell phones, or in possession of a weapon or firearm.

No-Tolerance Policy


Electronic Devices
LSAC has adopted a no-tolerance policy with regard to custody of electronic devices. Under no circumstances are test takers allowed to bring an electronic device into the test center.

These electronic devices include but are not limited to
• electronic timers of any kind
• electronic cigarettes
• fitness tracking devices
• digital watches, alarm watches, beeping watches, calculator watches
• cell phones, beepers, pagers, personal digital assistants (PDAs)
• personal computers
• calculators
• photographic or recording devices
• listening devices
