ST/SC/PwD candidates get 5 years relaxation. Number of Attempts: JEE Advanced can be attempted maximum two times in consecutive years. Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: Candidates should have completed their 12th standard examination in either 2016 or 2017. Earlier admission at IITs/ISM: Those candidates who were earlier admitted to IITs are not eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2017. Result Analyses 1,98,228 candidates had cleared the JEE (Main) examination to appear in JEE Advanced 2016. 2) 1,55,948 aspirants registered for JEE Advanced 2016. 3) 1,47,678 appeared for JEE Advanced 2016. 4) 36,566 qualified JEE Advanced 2016(31,996 were male while 4,570 were female) Maximum aggregate marks JEE Advanced: 372 (186 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2) Maximum marks in Physics : 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2) Maximum marks in Chemistry : 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2) Maximum marks in Mathematics: 124 (62 each in Paper-1 and Paper-2) Toppers of the JEE Advanced IR 1st Rank – Aman Bansal from Jaipur AIR 2nd Rank – Bhavesh Dhingra from Yamuna Nagar AIR 3rd Rank – Kunal Goyal from Jaipur AIR 133rd Rank – Riya Singh from Kota is the topper among girls. (Last year, Satwat Jagwani from Bansal Classes Kota topped JEE Advanced.) |
