The Department of Plant Molecular Biology was built up in 1988 under the Faculty of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences to oblige the necessities of understudies in wilderness regions of plant science and to complete research on Molecular Aspects of Plant Biology and Biotechnology. The Department was advanced by merger of the Unit for Plant Cell and Molecular Biology in 1988 (initially settled by the DST), and honor of COSIST concede by the UGC (1990-1995).

Qualification Conditions for Admission


Admission to the Master of Science in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (PMBB) includes a composed placement test taken after by a meeting.
