DAIICT (Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology) B. Tech Admission 2017 will take place through 2 channels i.e. 50 % of the candidates will be admitted under the Gujarat Category and they will have to clear the GUJCET 2017.

Such candidates will be admitted through the GUJCET Counselling 2017 conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat.

It is under the All India Category that candidates will be directly admitted to DAIICT on the basis of their JEE Main 2017 ranks.

DAIICT Important Dates 2017

Start date for the filling of online application form by candidates April 3, 2017

End date for filling the online application form June 30, 2017

Names of candidates displayed based on the ranks secured
by them 1st week of July 2017

Date for payment of fees by short listed candidates 2nd week of July

Date for registration of candidates who have been
Short listed and verification of their documents
at the campus of DAIICT Last week of July 2017

Date for the beginning of the orientation programme Last week of July 2017

Date for the commencement of the classes for
B. Tech programmes 1st week of August 2017

Qualifying Exam


One must have cleared any one of the following:

(a) Those candidates are eligible for admission who have cleared their ICSE OR CBSE exam

(b) Those that cleared the pre-university exam from a recognized board DAIICT B. Tech Admission 2017

(c) One should have had minimum five subjects and must have completed their Senior Secondary School Exam from National Institute of Open Schooling.

(d) One must have passed their 10+2 exam from a university or board in India or abroad recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

(e) One who has pursued their diploma of three years and is recognized by AICTE.

(f) One must have passed the H.S.C vocational exam.

(g) One, who has cleared the DAIICT B. Tech Admission 2017 General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level

(h) One, who has cleared the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva or the High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University
