For B. Tech Lateral Entry: Passed Diploma exam from an AICTE approved Institution; with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC / ST / State OBC Non-creamy layer category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. Passed B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with minimum 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC / ST / State OBC Non-creamy layer category) and passed 10+2 exam with mathematics as a subject. Provided that for students belonging to B. Sc. Stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects. JECRC Admission Process: For B. Tech: 1) First preference is given to the candidates having their merit on the basis of score in JEE Main 2016 conducted by CBSE. 2) Further seats remaining vacant admission shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination considering all subjects. For B. Tech Lateral Entry: Diploma holders and B. Sc holders are eligible for admission to 2nd year of B. Tech course on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination considering all subjects.
