It was renamed the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL) in 1972 with the addition of three major foreign languages. Eligibility: Class 10 (at least 50%) Weightage will be given to candidates with higher qualifications. SSC with 80% or above 10 points , 1st class – 8 points , Less than 1st class – 5 points, Graduates – 3 points, Post graduates – 3 points, M.Phil – 2 points PhD – 2 points.
