Punjab Technical University Lateral Entry Entrance Test is conducted by Punjab Technical University. Candidates who wish to seek admission through lateral entry in engineering and pharmacy can attend the exam. The students who pass this test can join the 2nd year or 3rd semester classes for courses like engineering and pharmacy. Important dates: For B.Tech Counselling fee depositon (1st round) 10th May Last date of Counselling Fee Payment 11th June 2017 Last date of Admission 15th August 2017 Direct Counselling Registration & Choice Filling 26th June to 5th July 2017 Merit List & Seat Allocation 6th July 2017 Reporting & Fee Deposition 7th July to 9th July 2017 Get application for PTU lateral entery:  Eligibility B.Tech (1st year) Pass/appearing 10 + 2 Examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the given subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, computer science & Biology. OR Pass Diploma from any engineering trade OR Pass two-year certificate course from SLIET B.Tech (2nd year) Lateral Entry Pass Diploma in any Engineering Trade & obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) OR Pass 10 + 2 Examination with mathematics as subjects. OR Pass B.Sc Degree Architecture Pass 10 + 2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10 + 3 years Diploma from any stream with 50% marks in aggregate.
