It is the sixth Indian Institute of Technology established in India. Grading System Based on the performance of a student, each student is awarded a final letter grade in each subject at the end of the semester. The letter grades and the corresponding grade points are as follows : Grade Grade Point AA 10 AB 9 BB 8 BC 7 CC 6 CD 5 DD 4 F 0 A Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) will be computed at the end of each semester and communicated to the students along with the SPI and the grades obtained by them for that semester.
