According to the official notification issued by the SSC on November 18, 2017, recruitment of a total of 2359 vacancies has been announced, which are for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) 898, Postal/Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) 2359 and Data Entry Operator 2. Eligibility Criteria Education qualification: Applicants should have qualified class XII, intermediate or an equivalent exam from an institute recognised by the State or Centre. Age limit: Applicants should be within the age group of 18-27 years as on August 1, 2017.(Candidates born not before 02-01-1991 and not later than 01-01-2000). Examination Pattern TIER I Marks Questions General Intelligence (Basic Knowledge) 25 50 English Language (Basic Knowledge) 25 50 Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) 25 50 General Awareness (Current Affairs) 25 50 Tier II (Descriptive Test) - The Tier II Paper of SSC CHSL 2018 is a descriptive paper of 100 marks. The test will be conducted in the pen and paper mode. The duration of the paper is one hour. . Tier-III (Typing /Skill Test) -The Tier-III Examination is the Skill / Typing Test. This test is of qualifying nature and will not be counted in the preparation of the final merit list.
