| vikash | Re: Gap Year Delhi University The University of Delhi, informally known as Delhi University (DU), is a collegiate public central university, located in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly There is no such rule in DU. If a student is eligible, i.e. clears the cut-off then can get admission into the college. The University of Delhi's 86 academic departments are divided into 16 faculties.
