| prince karak | Re: jammu university msc entrance syllabus University of Jammu conducts Jammu University Entrance test (JUET) for admission Into the Courses Offered by the University Examination Pattern There shall be two question papers, one for PG and the other for UG courses comprising of 150 objective type questions of one mark each and the duration for the entrance test shall be 2 ½ hours. The contents of the paper and weightage shall be: a. General English - 40 questions b. Gen. Knowledge - 40 questions c. Reasoning - 40 questions d. Numerical Ability - 30 questions Marking Scheme For every wrong answer there shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks. The candidate securing less than 30% marks for general category and 25% for SC/ST category shall not be eligible for admission. The following weightage shall be given to the candidates: a. Academic Merit 75% b. Entrance Test 25% Syllabus for MSC Computer Science Mathematics: Percentage, Interest, Profit and loss, Time and work, Height and Distance, Stock and shares, Ration and Proportion, Average, Fractions etc: Trigonometry Calculus and Analytical Geometry Differential equations Statistics and Probability Modern Algebra and Matrix Theory Theory equations etc Fundamentals of Computer Arithmetic: Series – Numeric and Alphabetic Logical reasoning Representation of Characters Floating point representation of numbers Fundamentals of computers Boolean Algebra Binary Arithmetic etc Examination Center Jammu Kathua Udhampur Kishtwar Bhaderwah Rajouri Poonch Srinagar Leh Delhi Chandigarh |
