Presentation of Data- Diagrammatic representation of data – Bar diagrams – Pie diagrams – histogram- Frequency Polygon and frequency curve – Pictogram and Cartogram. UNIT 2 – MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY 16 Hrs. Simple averages – mean, median, mode – Geometric mean and Harmonic mean – Weighted Arithmetic mean – Measures of Dispersion- Range – Quartile deviation – Mean deviation – Standard deviation –Coefficient of variation – Combined mean and standard deviation.
