Colleges According to the Recent Regulation by UGC, those who wants to get appointment in a Govt/Aided College have qualified UGC-NET or SLET ( by UGC), or PhD in concerned subject. Then they will get Rs.500 per hour and a Maximum of Rs.25,000/- as Salary. In the absence of qualified candidate, Candidate without UGC-NET or SLET ( by UGC), or PhD will be considered. They get Rs.300/hour and a maximum of 15,000/- per month as salary. |

vikash | Re: UGC Norms for Guest Faculty in Govt. Colleges According to a college head, conforming to UGC guidelines on faculty appointment is a "near impossibility." But then, there is no room for complacency either. Beyond 2011-12, candidates without NET will not be considered as approved lecturers.
