Tentative schedule C.D.S. EXAM.(II) DATE OF NOTIFICATION (WEDNESDAY)- 2nd week.August.2017 LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS – 2nd week. September .2017 DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM – 3rd week.November.2017 Eligibility Nationality:- A candidate must either be a) A citizen of India b) A subject of Bhutan c) A subject of Nepal d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 01, 1962 with the of permanently settling in India' e) A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Age Indian Maritime Academy (IMA) :- Unmarried Male aspirants aged between minimum 18 and maximum 22 years are eligible to apply. Indian Naval Academy (INA):- Unmarried Male aspirants aged between minimum 18 and maximum 22 years of age are eligible to apply. Indian Air force Academy (IAA):-Unmarried Male aspirants aged between minimum 18 and maximum 22 years of age are eligible to apply. For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men):- Unmarried/Married Male aspirants aged between minimum 18 and maximum 22 years of age are eligible to apply. For Officers Training Academy [ SSC Course for Women (Non-Technical)]:- Umarried/Issueless Widows/Issuless Divorcees aged between minimum 18 and maximum 22 years of age are eligible to apply. Educational Qualification:- For IMA and Officer's Training Academy:- Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. For Indian Naval Academy :- Engineering Degree from a recognized university or institution. For AirForce Academy:- Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Chemistry as subjects in 10+2) or Bachelor of Engineering. Students studying in the final year of degree course and are yet to pass the final degree examination are eligible to apply for CDS Fee Candidates (excepting Female /SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) Selection Procedure The candidates will be provided admission to INA, IMA, Air Force Academy, and Officers’ Training Academy through Written Examination, Personality Test and Interview The candidates will be placed in the order of merit on the basis of the total marks secured by them in the written examination and in the SSB tests. The final selection will be made in order of merit subject to medical fitness and suitability in all other respects and number of vacancies available |
