As you want to know about the IES Exam Pattern for Electronics and Telecommunication so here is the information of the same:

The IES exam is being held in the month of May every year and the last date for applying for the exam is starting is February, you should be above 21 years of age and already passed your graduation or should be in the final year of graduation to apply for this exam, the exam is conducted in three days duration, the general pattern of exam is

Day 1: general studies and English 200 marks

Day 2: objective paper 1, 200 marks objective paper 2, 200 marks

Day 3: conventional paper 1, 200 marks conventional paper 2, 200 marks

The written exam is total of 1000 marks, if you are selected in this then you will be called for interview which is also of 200 marks, your final selection will be based on what you score out of 1200, there is an negative marking of 33 percentage of the marks allotted to the question in the objective paper for every wrong answer, you can get the syllabus from the site upsc.gov.in
