It is one of the toughest medical entrance tests due to its question, number of applications and limited number of seats. AIIMS MBBS course has 72 seats for Indian Nationals and 1 seat for Foreign Nationals at AIIMS Delhi. AIIMS is invited candidates for to admit in these AIIMS Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Patna, Rishikesh, Bhubaneswar and Raipur institutes. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi conducts AIIMS MBBS for providing admissions to as many as 707 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institutes located in the country. The intakes of six new AIIMS are 100 seats per year. The reservation policy which followed is 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, for Indian Nationals. Further, a 3% reservation for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seats available.
