Re: national scholastic aptitude test

The SAT is a standardized test designed to measure basic critical reading, math and writing skills.

Most colleges and universities request ACT or SAT score results from applicants.

The SAT is composed of three main sections, each with its own subsections. The three major sections will be graded on a scale of 200-800. The final score will be the sum of all sections, a number between 600 and 2400.

National SAT is a general test of verbal and quantitative reasoning accepted for U. S. college admissions. The test is required for admission to undergraduate programs of most US universities.

In INDIA, test held only in Bangalore, Calcutta, Cochin, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kodaikanal, Mumbai, Mussoorie, New Delhi, and Pune.

Exam Pattern:

Each section receives a score on the scale of 200–800.
All scores are multiples of 10.
Total scores are calculated by adding up scores of the three sections.

Each major section is divided into three parts.
There are 10 sub-sections, including an additional 25-minute experimental or "equating" section that may be in any of the three major sections.

SAT Exam Duration:

The test is of 3 hours and 45 minutes overall. That includes three critical reading sections, three math sections, three writing sections including an essay section, and an experimental section that may resemble any of the aforementioned sections.
Every test last nearly 25 minutes.
