Infrastructure for pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions and personal interviews is available. The following are the facilities to aid the process: · Auditoriums to conduct pre-placement talks and written tests. · Well-furnished air conditioned rooms to conduct interviews and group discussions. · Fully computerized office. · Student volunteers to assist on the day of the visit. Indian Institute of Technology Madras Placement 2017-18  Placement Process It is the responsibility of the student to check notices in the notice boards of Placement Website. Students are expected to be punctual. A student who applies and gets shortlisted is bound to go through the entire selection process unless rejected midway by the company. One who withdraws deliberately in the middle of a selection process is disallowed from placement for the rest of the academic year. Late Comers for Aptitude Test / GD / Interview may not be allowed to appear for the selection process. One should maintain discipline and show ethical behaviour in every action they take during the placement process. One found impious the discipline rules set by the company or defaming the institute's name will be rejected from the placements for the rest of the academic year. One found cheating or misbehaving in the selection process (Test / GD / Interview) will be disallowed from the placements for the rest of the academic year. Dress code should be maintained.
