The DSSSB will select the candidates based on their performance in written exam and interview. The Eligibility Criterion is the minimum set of criterions which the candidates need to follow in order to participate in a particular examination. DSSSB has set a minimum criterion for the teachers’ recruitment. For DSSSB exam candidates should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field from a recognized university. Qualification for DSSSB: Age Limit: For PGT Posts: Maximum Age – 36 years TGT Post: Maximum Age – 32 years Age Relaxation SC/ST – 5 years OBC – 3 years PWD SC/ST – 15 years OBC – 13 years Women – 10 years Ex-servicemen – 3 years Departmental Candidates with minimum 3 years of continuous service – 5 years Educational Qualification: For Special Educator Teacher: candidates should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education from a recognized university. They should also have done B. Ed in Special Education or B.Ed with two years Diploma in Special Education from a recognized university. For Nursery Teacher: candidates should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursery Teacher Education from a recognized university. For Assistant Teacher Primary: Candidates should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Special Education from a recognized university. For Home Science Teacher: Candidates should have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Home Science from a recognized university. They should have M.Sc. (Home Science) from a recognized university. |
