The University only organizes centralized counselling for admission in its affiliated colleges & also for itself. On the basis of JEE Main & NATA, candidates can get admission in the B.Tech & B.Arch courses of the affiliated colleges & university. The B.Tech admission is based on on JEE Main & 10+2 score. Select admission course for admission in PTU:  Important dates: For B.Tech Counselling fee depositon (1st round) 10th May Last date of Counselling Fee Payment 11th June 2017 Last date of Admission 15th August 2017 Direct Counselling Registration & Choice Filling 26th June to 5th July 2017 Merit List & Seat Allocation 6th July 2017 Reporting & Fee Deposition 7th July to 9th July 2017 Expected dates: For Courses Under University Entrance Test: Events Dates (Tentative) Online Application Release 4th week of May 2018 Last date of application submission Last week of June 2018 Date of Entrance Exam 1st week of July 2018 Result Announcement 3rd week of July 2018 Counselling July 2018 Seat Reservation: All the rules and regulation about reservation are subject to government of Punjab. 85% seats will be reserved for the candidates; those are the permanent residence of Punjab state. 15% seats will be reserved for all candidates who belong to outside state of Punjab. If any candidate belongs to reserved category, they will be eligible to make a claim for reservation. |
