D (Doctor of Philosophy) (Full Time) Program offered by Nirma University are as follows: Eligibility: Master degree or equivalent degree recognized by Nirma University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. One appearing in final examination can also apply provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria by June 30, 2017. Admission Procedure: Application Form The application forms can be downloaded from the website and the completed application form should be sent along with demand draft of Rs.1000/- favouring "Institute of Management, Nirma University" payable at Ahmedabad. Important Dates 2017: Last date for submitting the Application Form April 25, 2017 Entrance Test May 14, 2017 [10 AM] Final Selection First Week of June 2017 Commencement of the Programme Third of June 2017 Selection Process: The admission selection process consists of two stages : 1. Entrance Test: One needs to appear in the admission test to be conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University. [However NET/SLET/Teacher Fellowship/M.Phil qualified candidates are exempted from this Test]. The Entrance Test consists of the following four sections: 1. Quantitative Skills 2. Verbal Skills 3. Logic and Data Interpretation 4. Social and General Awareness Each section comprises of 30 questions. Duration of the Test will be two hours. Negative marks will be assigned for wrong/incorrect answers. The Test will be objective type with multiple choice options. 2. Personal Interview: One short-listed on the basis of the performance in the Entrance Test will be called for Personal Interviews. The final selection for admission is based on one’s performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview.
