| Vishal Kotkar | Re: upsc ac exam Commandant Entrance test this exam is a national level civil service test conducted throughout the country.Union Public Service Commission conducts Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the •Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) •Border Security Force (BSF) •Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) •Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) •Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) •Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Eligibility Criteria Age: Individuals aged between 20 and 25 years of age as on 01st August of the year of admission are eligible to apply. (Certain categories of persons including departmental candidates are eligible for age relaxation). Educational qualification: Degree from recognized university with equivalent qualification. Aspirants appearing for their final year graduation exam are allowed to appear for UPSC CPF but are required to submit proof of passing along with the Detailed Application Form which is to be submitted after qualifying the written test, medical standards test and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). Both males and females are eligible for CISF and CRPF. For SSB, BSF and ITBP only male candidates are eligible. Physical Standard:- The Minimum requirements for the candidate are as follows:- Men:- Height:-165 cm Chest (unexpanded):- 81 cm (with 5 cm minimum expansion) Weight: - 50 kg Women:- Height: - 157 cm Weight: - 46 kg Examination Pattern : Paper I : General Ability and Intelligence - 250 Marks The questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi. Paper II : General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 Marks In this paper candidates will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/language skills will be English only. PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL STANDARDS TEST - To be conducted only of candidates who qualify the written examination. Interview for Personality Test. Date of the Exam Notice Date - 12-04-2017 Closing Date - 05-05-2017 Exam Date - 23rd July 2017. |
