The Commission will release recruitment notice on June 17, 2017. The SSC Stenographer 2017 exam will conduct from September 4 to 7, 2017 in computer based mode. Posts Stenographer SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria Candidates should have passed class 12 standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18-27 years i.e candidates must not have born not before 02-08-1989 and not later than 01-08-1998. Nationality: A candidate must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East 2 African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
