Established in 1997 by the State of Madhya Pradesh, it is one of the first three law schools to have been established under the National Law School system. About the NLIU Debating Society The NLIU Debating Society is arguably one of the best in the Indian debating circuit. The DebSoc bears the responsibility of organizing internal debate selections. This determines the Freshers Pool as well as the National Debate Pool, to whom national and international debates are oriented. NLIU Debate The NLIU Debate, now running into its fourth edition, is one of the flagship events hosted by the University.
