University Research Council (URC) Grants Research Grants URC Research Grants fund faculty research in areas where prospects for external support are usually poor, or to conduct preliminary research Award Grants may be used for research-related travel, equipment, supplies, software, and other direct expenses. The award limit is $10,000. Deadline Fall - November 21, 2016 at 5:00pm Spring - April 5, 2017 at 5:00pm Notification of Action Fall - December 21, 2016 Spring - April 28, 2017 (for April 5 submissions) Travel Grants URC Travel Grants fund travel to conferences held outside the continental United States, the cost of which is not normally covered by regular budgets (use research grant proposal format for non-conference travel). Awards- The amount of the award will be based on the following: The significance of the travel Transportation and associated costs This award will normally provide only a portion of the total travel expenses. Evidence of partial support from other sources is highly desirable.
