The Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test UPCPMT exam is replaced by the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) Exam.

CBSE has conducted National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) on May 7, 2017.

Admissions to about 63,000 MBBS and BDS seats across the country will be through NEET.

NEET 2017 Important Dates

NEET 2017 applications January 31, 2017
Last date for submitting the application form March 1, 2017
Registration window for candidates above 25 years of age March 31 to 5, 2017
Date of uploading of Admit-Card on website April 22, 2017
NEET 2017 Exam Date May 7, 2017
Downloading of OMR Answer Sheet Last week of May*
Declaration of NEET 2017 Result June 8, 2017

NEET Eligibility Criteria


Candidates must have appeared/qualified Class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology (PCB), Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)

Candidates belonging to General category must have secured at least 50% marks in PCB. However, SC/ST/OBC candidates have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in PCB
Candidates who have passed the B.Sc examination of an Indian University with not less than 2 of these subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Biology) Botany and Zoology)/Biotechnology

Candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age as on before December 31, 2017

The age limit for General Category candidates is 25 years as on date of the examination.

The age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates is 30 years

Candidate must be an Indian National, Overseas Citizen of India, Non Resident Indian, Foreign National and Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
