| vikash | Re: centac seat allotment The final CENTAC counselling for UT of Puducherry candidates was conducted on August 30-31, 2017. The counselling for Round I and Round II CENTAC for other states and UT of Puducherry was conducted on August 26, 2017. The seat allotment of CENTAC for the first phase was conducted from August 8 to August 12, 2017, based on the merit list prepared by the admissions committee. There are a total of 480 sanctioned B. Tech seats, out of which 382 seats (85%) will be allotted to candidates from the state of Puducherry, while the remaining 15% seats will be filled by candidates from other states/ UTs (46 seats) and NRI candidates.
