IIT Madras Summer Internship Programme The IIT Madras Summer Internship Programme is a two months research program designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through summer project undertaken at the IIT Madras. Duration: Internship may commence from 16th May 2017 to 15th July 2017. Schedule may be flexible to suit student’s convenience. Eligibility- Are pursuing Third Year of B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg)/Integrated M.E./M.Tech. programme, Candidates pursuing First Year of ME/M.Tech/M.Sc./M.A, MBA Candidates are expected to have outstanding academic background. IIT students are not eligible to apply. Research Area/ Departments: • Computer Science/IT • Electrical Engineering • Electronics & Communication Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Civil Engineering • Chemical Engineering • Metallurgical & Materials Engineering • Physics and Maths • Biotechnology • Aerospace Engineering • Applied Mechanics • Humanities & Social Sciences • Management Studies Stipend/ Support: A sum of Rs.5000/- per month will be given as a stipend for a maximum period of 2 months.
