Eligibility Candidates must have successfully completed any of the following: B.F.Tech. from NIFT B.E / B.Tech. from any Institute / University recognized by law in India. Important Note Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply. They will be required to produce proof of having acquired necessary qualifications by the time of counselling or admission. For details please see the prospectus. Reservation of Seats The seats reserved for various categories in each programme are as under: Scheduled Castes 15% Scheduled Tribes 7.5% Other Backward Communities (non creamy) 27% Persons With Disability (PWD) 5% (horizontal reservation cutting across categories) Foreign Nationals/ SAARC/NRI 15% (supernumerary) State Domiciles 20% (supernumerary) The qualifying candidates need to meet the eligibility and admission requirements of NIFT.
