Tentative dates Last Date To Submit Application Form: May 2018 DRDO SET Exam date – First week of September 2018 Declaration Of Result – November 2018 Exam pattern DRDO SET exam is of three hours duration consisting of two sections section A and Section B. Section ‘A’ is of 100 questions to test the candidate’s knowledge in the subject of their BE / B.Tech (for Engg discipline) or M.Sc (for Science Discipline). Section ‘B’ is of 50 questions to test the candidate’s ability in analytical and qualitative skills, current affairs and general awareness to test the aptitude and scientific knowledge required for Applied Research & Development. Application fee Candidates are required to pay application fees of Rs. 300/- for general and OBC candidates (Rs.100/- for the application form with information brochure and Rs. 200/- as exam fees). SC/ST candidates are required to pay only Rs. 100/- is to be paid at designated branches of State Bank of India. Selection Process: Selection of applying candidates will be done according to their performance in Scientist Entry Test.
