This was conferred the "University Status" by University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India, Under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 from the academic year 2008-09 and under the name HITS. The Hindustan University is charges a total fee of Rs. 1, 32, 500/- for first year of B.Tech course. Here in Hindustan University Total fee for other 3 years amounts to Rs. 1, 14, 000/- per year. Fee structure of B.Tech in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering differs slightly from other courses. Total fee for the first year amounts to Rs. 1, 57,500/- and Rs. 1, 39,000/- for the next three years. Fees structure for admission in Hindustan University:  Fees and Deposits for Ph.D., M.S. (By Research) and M. Phil. Programmes *The fee structure is same for Ph.D., M.S. (By Research) and M. Phil. Programmes and for full time and part time students.
