This post belongs to Class II Officer Category. The appointments of development officers are usually made at the divisional offices of LIC. Candidates must have bachelor degree can be in any of the subjects Arts, Science, Commerce or Agriculture. Candidates with bachelor degree in Law from an Indian or Foreign University or an equivalent qualification can also apply for LIC Development Officers Exam. Required criteria: The selection of candidates for the appointment as Development Officers is through LIC Development Officers Exam. The exam for LIC Development Officers Exam is usually held in the month of September and the dispatch of application forms begins by the month of July. Age: Candidates must have completed the age of 21. The upper age limit for LIC Development Officers Exam is 30. Those candidates coming under SC/ST can have age relaxation up to 5 years where as OBC candidates can have up to 3 years of age relaxation. Educational Qualification: For Employees category and Agents category: Candidates must have bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. For Other Category: Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established under a statute or a foreign university approved for the purpose or the Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai. Preference may be given to those applicants who possess Masters Degree in Business Administration in Marketing or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from a University in India established under Statute or by an Institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education or a recognized Institution. Exam Pattern: LIC Recruitment exam consists of following two steps selection process. Step 1 Written Examination: Time 2 Hrs. (combined) Subject No of Questions Time Allowed Test of Reasoning 50 2 Hr Test of English Language 50 Test of Numerical Aptitude 50 Test of General Awareness 50 Total 200 There is negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong question Step 2 Group Discussion & Interview: |
