| vikash | Re: indian institute of social science shimla The areas of investigation in Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) are such as would promote interdisciplinary research. The areas have deep human significance. The main research areas are those in which scholars of renown can be attracted in the initial stages, both for the purposes of developing the methodological framework for interdisciplinary research and for ensuring an acceptable quality in output that will encourage extension of such efforts to more areas in. Each of these projects is for a specified period and under no circumstances, the period of such projects should be extended. Topics • Theme of Indian unity in diversity • Intergrality of Indian consciousness • Philosophy of education in the Indian perspective • Advanced concepts in natural sciences and their philosophical implications • Indian and Asian contribution to the synthesis of science and spirituality • Indian and human unity • A Campanion to Indian Literature • A Comparitive Study of Indian Epics • Human Environment.
