It is a post where you get some power and authority from the day one of your posting. As a divisional accountant, you would work in some state government development office. You may be working in PWD office, irrigation office, public health office or any other state government office. The divisional accountant cadre is controlled by concerned state accountant general office and you can’t be transferred outside of that state cadre except when there’s a mutual situation and you are still under probation. Salary- The salary breakdown of a Divisional Accountant in Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) is as follows. Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- Grade Pay: Rs. 4,200/- Apart from the regular fixed pay, a Divisional Accountant also enjoys a bunch of perks, benefits and allowances. DA on Total Pay above (around 107%) Transport Allowance (TA) House Rent Allowance (if not provided with quarters) According to current pay scales, you would get a salary of around 30,000/- per month initially. Even with a decent 30-35% increase, salary in divisional accountant post would cross 40,000 pm for sure in a 7th pay scale. |
