Re: After MBBS from AIIMS

AIIMS medical entrance exam is a national level medical test for admission to the under graduate programs such as MBBS, B.sc in Nursing, Radiography, audiometry, etc., in seven AIIMS institutes in India

Options After MBBS From AIIMS

Become a Junior resident(non academic) in a tertiary care hospital or a medical college, learn till you crack PG meanwhile earning a lil bit.

Get through UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination and get recruited as a medical officer under central govt.

Open your clinic and start practising in a village from whatever you've learnt. (Village coz people in a city are too smart to go to a doctor who has just done an MBBS)

Go for an MBA and become a hospital manager.

Write a book.

Other options:

UPSC CIVIL SERVICES - one of the favorite options among med graduates.

Army medical officer - Indian army conducts a nationwide test to choose the deserving medical graduates

HCMS - You have option to join Civil Medical Services.

It has a number of advantages - you are posted as a class 1 gazetted officer, pay scale is good around 40k, you get a benefit in pg entrance exam by availing the hcms quota if you work for at least 5 years in this service.
