Further vide U.P. Government General Order No. 902A/Sec. Hig. Edu./97 dt. 24th July, 1997, the name SHRI SHAHUJI MAHARAJ UNIVERSITY, KANPUR, has been changed as CHHATRAPATI SHAHUJI MAHARAJ UNIVERSITY, KANPUR from 25th July, 1997.
