The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is given an employment notification for the recruitment of HP Administrative Combined Competitive Exam vacancies under various departments on regular and contract basis. Eligible (citizen of India) candidates can apply online on or before 20-01-2018 till 11:59 pm. Syllabus for Preliminary Examination: Paper –I General Studies: This paper shall be of 200 marks and there shall be 100 objective type (Multiple choice) questions from the syllabus of History, geography, political, art & culture and socio economic development of Himachal Pradesh. Current events of national and international socio economic development of Himachal Pradesh. Current events of national and international physical, social, economic geography of India and the world. Indian polity and governance – Constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights issues, etc. Economic and social development – sustainable development poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives, etc. General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate Change – that do not require subject specialization and General science Paper -II Aptitude Test: This paper shall be of 200 marks and in this paper there shall be 100 objective type (multiple choice) questions from the Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, Logical reasoning and analytical ability, Decision making and problem solving, General mental ability, Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. – Class X level). English Language comprehension skills (Class X level). Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service Syllabus  Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be 21-35 years Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University, passed the final professional M.B.B.S. or any other Medical Examination equivalent thereto. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written exam. Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 400/- for General category, candidates of other states (including reserved category) & Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates |
