Re: tamilnadu veterinary science animal science university
The seed for the foundation and development of TANUVAS was sown as ahead of schedule as 1876, when the Madras Veterinary College was begun as an Agricultural School in Chennai to offer recognition and testament course in the field of veterinary and creature sciences. In light of the proposal of the Royal Commission on Agriculture, the school was moved up to grant degree in veterinary science. In spite of the fact that the school was the fourth veterinary establishment to be begun in India, it was first veterinary school in the nation to be subsidiary to a college, the University of Madras in 1935 and the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.) degree course was begun in 1936. Understanding the significance of training exploration in creature and fisheries sciences in order to build its profitability towards better pay era for the asset poor agriculturists, the administration of Tamilnadu built up the principal veterinary and creature sciences college in Asia on twentieth September 1989 with its head quarters at Chennai with the name Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (prominently contracted as TANUVAS).
