NIMCET is a National Level Entrance Test for admission into Master of Computer Applications Program (MCA) offered by 11 participating National Institutes of Technology (NITs) at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal NIMCET Eligibility Criteria Candidates should have qualified B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons.)/BCA/BIT under 10+2+3 pattern with Mathematics/Statistics as a subject or equivalent Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology degree or equivalent from a recognized University are also eligible General and OBC candidates should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects Candidates belonging to reserved categories i.e Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste need to score at least 55% marks NIMCET 2017 Important Dates: Notification February 17, 2017 (Friday) Applications begins February 20, 2017 (Monday) Last date of NIMCET application with documents March 31, 2017 (Friday) Admit Card will release on May 16, 2017 (Tuesday) NIMCET 2017 will be held on May 28, 2017 (Saturday) Result announcement of test June 6, 2017 (Tuesday) Online counselling June 9 to June 14, 2017 Counselling and seat allotment June 17 to July 31, 2017 NIMCET Exam Pattern 2017 The test duration for NIMCET is two hours The question paper of NIMCET will carry 120 multiple choice questions with four options each. There will be negative marking of one mark in case of each incorrect response.
