Every year about a million people walk a distance of 250 kilometers from Alandi to Pandharpur

Situated at the bank of river "Bhima" also called as "Chandrabhaga" meaning "Moonlike" since it takes shape of half moon while passing through Pandharpur

Revered for its temple dedicated to Lord Vitthal, it is one of the most sacred towns in Maharashtra

4.00 am Open for darshan/4.30 am Kakad Aarti/6.00 am to 7.00 am Darshan

7.00 am to 8.30 am Bhakta puja/8.30 am to 11.00 am Darshan/11.00 am Maha

Nevaidya 11.15 am to 4.30 pm Darshan/4.30 pm to 5.00 pm Poshak (Dress change)
