Hi I would like t know the basic criteria on which the grades are given at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and how can one view their grades?

Despite the fact that grading relies on upon the division, course or even the educator, the most widely recognized technique took after is clarified underneath -

Rating is done on a score of 1 to 10. Nobody gets underneath 4 to the extent I know.

S-10, A-9, B-8, C-7, D-6, E-4, U=0 and W=0. Yes, you read it right. E is 4 and not 5. Try not to GET AN E!

U is for not passing the exam in light of imprints and W is for not passing the exam in view of participation. IIT Madras has 85% mandatory participation. Once more, the strictness of it relies on upon office and the teacher.

C review - if your score is Av.
