Delhi Technological University (DTU), previously known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is a designing college situated in New Delhi, India. It is one of the most established building universities in India and Delhi's initially designing school. It was built up in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic and was under the control of the Government of India. The school has been under the legislature of the National Capital Territory of Delhi since 1963 and was partnered with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. In 2009, the school was given state college status, hence changing its name to Delhi Technological University. It offers courses towards Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) and contains fourteen scholastic offices with a solid accentuation on logical and innovative instruction and research. Delhi Technological University (Delhi College of Engineering) worked from the Kashmiri Gate grounds in the heart of Old Delhi until 1989, when development started at the New Campus at Bawana Road in May. Moving of operations from Kashmiri Gate to the new 164 sections of land grounds at Bawana Road started in 1995, and the new grounds formally began classes for every one of the four years of study beginning 1999.
