Eligibility Candidates must have a three-year LLB degree or a three-year integrated LLB degree if equivalent LLB degree from a recognized University Candidates must have obtained at least 55% marks in aggregate of the qualifying degree examination For candidates of SC/ST category, a relaxation of 5% marks is provided i.e. they need to have 50% marks in the qualifying LLB degree exam Exam pattern Total Marks: 200 Number of Questions: 200 Duration: 2 hours Marking:There is system of negative marking and for every incorrect answer 1/4th marks will be deducted. CLAT Structure English (including comprehension) 40 marks Elementary Mathematics 20 marks General Knowledge/Current Affairs 50 marks Logical Reasoning 40 marks Legal Reasoning 50 marks Application fee The candidates can pay the application fee for CLAT PG 2017 via online as well as offline mode. The application fee is Rs. 4000/- (ST/SC: Rs. 3500/-). To pay the application fee via online mode, the candidates can opt for the payment via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. To pay the application fee via offline mode, the candidates are required to take a printout of the E-Challan during the application process and pay the amount in cash at any ICICI branch. |
