I want to apply for Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET Exam for admission in MDS courses so can you provide me the details of exam?

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will not conduct any entrance exam for Admission to MDS programmes.

Admission to MDS in Dental colleges of Karnataka will be done on the basis of NEET PG scores.

However, Admission to Karnataka PG Medical 2017 will be done strictly on the basis of Karnataka PG Medical merit list 2017 based on NEET PG 2017 scores for Karnataka state.

Karnataka MDS Admission Eligibility Criteria

BDS Degrees in colleges recognized by Dental Council of India, Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India and located in Karnataka State;
or
Candidate must be of Karnataka origin who has studied BDS degrees in colleges outside Karnataka recognized by Dental Council of India and Government of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India.

Karnataka PG Medical Merit List 2017:

The merit list of Karnataka PG Medical 2017 has been declared on February 20, 2017.

Based on the merit list of Karnataka PG Medical 2017, KEA will consider reservation criteria and provide Admission to candidates as per rules and regulations under 50% state quota seat.

Karnataka PG Medical 2017 merit list will consist of candidate’s name, All India Rank, NEET PG 2017 percentile, category etc.

Karnataka PG Medical merit list 2017 will be determined as per following criteria mentioned under:

50 percentile for General candidates

40 percentile for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC candidates

45 percentile for persons with disability
