I would like to tell you that Banaras Hindu University not yet conducts the entrance exam BSC Maths, here I will tell you dates and other related to remember easily.

Tentative dates
Applications begins January 3rd week, 2018
Last date of submitting applications February 3rd week, 2018
Admit Card One week prior to exam
BHU UET B.Sc (Hons.) Maths April last week, 2018
Result announcement First-Second week of June, 2018

Application form fee
BHU (UET & PET) Application fee is Rs. 500/- for General and OBC and for SC/ST is Rs. 250/-.

Eligibility
Age
The candidates applying for the admission should be minimum 22 years

The SC/ST and PC categories candidates will be provided relaxation of 5 years with the upper age limit

The OBC category candidates will be provided relaxation of 3 years with the upper age limit.

Academic Qualification
Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the subjects Physics, Maths plus any one of the following: Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Informatics practices and Geography.

Candidate must have passed in each of the concerned three subjects and should be supported with the Certificate issued by the Examining body.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.

SC/ST candidates: The SC/ST candidates do not require a minimum aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examination as they only need to pass the qualifying exam.

OBC and PC candidates: For OBC and PC candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Exam pattern
Duration of Exam: 2 ½ hours duration.

It will contain 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 450 marks, 50 each.

Standard: The question paper will be of +2 Examination or equivalent.

Each question will carry three marks, and for each wrong answer, one mark shall be deducted while the unattempted question will be awarded zero marks.
