Can you tell me the exam date for UPMT (Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test) 2018, conducted by the H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) as I will start my revision for the exam accordingly?

UPMT (Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test) was a state level entrance examination of Uttarakhand state. UPMT was conducted by the H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU).

The exam was organized for admission in various medical programmes such as MBBS/BDS offered by the private/government medical/dental colleges of Uttarakhand. Since 2016, it has been replaced by the NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Exam) exam.

Eligibility Criteria
• Indian, OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India), PIO (Persons of Indian Origin), NRI & Foreign candidates can apply for NEET exam.
• The minimum age limit is 17 years of the year of admission and the maximum age limit is 25 years (30 years for SC/ST/OBC categories) on the date of examination.
• Students may apply for 3 times (GEN category) & 5 times (for SC/ST/OBC category) for this exam.
• One must have cleared the 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
• One appearing in the 12th examination can also apply.
• One must have Chemistry, Physics, Biology & Biotechnology or any other elective subject with English in the qualifying exam.
• One must have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% for general PH and 40% for SC/ST & OBC categories in the PCB group.
• Aadhaar Card: For all Indian citizens, Aadhaar Card is mandatory to apply.
